day 6 @ TW

day 6 : miniature museum

tis museum is situated at the basement of a insignificant building. if there isnt any LARGE posters outside this building showing "KITTY SPECIAL", we could have missed it.

miniatures r displayed in this museum. ya crap. its really amazing dat these ppl can actually construct something soooooo tiny and make it sooooo real. and of coz, they do not miss out details. like the piano scores in the pic below. simply beautiful.




lucky we came. this "kitty special" makes mi mad. crazy mi. im sooooo happy. even ai ai oso say can see im very happy. haha ya realli. i love kitty. kitty for life. its displayed by a kitty collector lahz. she is mad-est liao. so many kitty stuffs. juz in this section, both of us took 300photos. a tough decision for mi to choose which to upload.

busy TW. i think its zhongxiao duno N/S/E/W road, section duno 1/2/3/4.

next stop, WU FEN PU. the place for wholesale of clothes, clothes, clothes n clothes. the locals usually bring enormous bags, eg those da lu bags, buy a huge load of clothes, bargain wif the wholesale-er, n sell them at night markets. we can get clothes selling at $10 at night markets. can u imagine at this place its onli $6 - $7??? and the clothes r those normal tops we wear, office wear oso have, even dresses r sold at most $15.

wat if the shopkeepers dun see u in huge bags???

some will HL u lorz. totally HL. sian-ed
but some will still entertain u. when u try to bargain, they will noe ur not local, some even noe dat im s'porean. and said "tis price u cant get from sg lorz. still wan to bargain" kitty says knn.

but overall, they're ok lahz. if ur not sure how to bargain or not sure of the market price, hop into a shop where theres aready ppl inside. then wait for them to bargain. then u noe the price liaoz. hehe.


yeah end of another fun n tired day. wu fen pu is another place where i will be back.

day 5 @ TW

day 5 : slack day. coz i overslept n rugi-ed hotel breakfast. roar!

brunch-ing @ jap rest, ximenting. the food is good. woots! sashimi-ed. kitty loves fish.

the place we r supposed to go on day 4. haha we r finally back. still hot as ever.

duno how ai ai took this artistic shot. i like. act like inspirational.

slack n slack n decided to go to the city zhongxiao fuxing. all branded goods. doesnt suit poor tourists like us. coz all the SOGO dept stores r there. they claimed that the latest fashion is there. ya right.

this is the raohe night market. bad. nth to eat. not crowded at all. means the food not nice. and the street is juz less than 100m.

shilin is still the best. so we went back...............

and found this unexplored place in shilin. hahaha lots of pet shops... they sell kittens too. woots!

day 4 @ TW

yay! planned to go 中正纪念堂 in e morning then afternoon go 淡水. YES we did go to the memorial hall. but it was tooooo hot. so we juz took some photos @ the gate n left for 淡水.

once we reached 淡水, we got a "lost" feeling. coz so many ppl n we duno where to go. as stupid tourists, we decided to follow the crowd. n this crowd brought us to 淡水老街, wif lots n lots of food, lots n lots of ice cream n lots of stall games where u can win soft toys.

waiting to board the ferry to 淡水渔人码头. the magazine says we can take bus there. lucky we din take bus. coz ferry is a different experience. hehe.

day 3 @ TW

Day 3 : Kaoshuing


ok, we happy happy, board the tw highspeed rail. from taipei to kaoshuing. realli excited. coz it says the max speed is 300km/h. so we wanted to feel how it was. hehe.


and we r wearing our 1st couple tee we bought on 2nd night. cute???





these r some photos we took along the way. theres some not-so-beautiful scenery, but good enough lah. at least theres something to see. hehe. they have hdb flats too. but very ulu. we oso saw process plants! dun think they have something like jurong island / tuas to compile all the most dangerous processes. coz we oso saw a couple of power plants along the way, n their designs so nice. not like ours. red n white stripes. not creative.

yeah reached zuoying @ kaoshuing. it was realli a 2hr journey. no delays. hehe dats mi posing wif the highspeed rail. the train is very long ok.

coming out from the train station, still need to transfer to their mrt. mmm since we cant use the easy card bought from taipei, so we juz buy single journey lor. hehe. like SG right? ya but better, coz dun need to pay deposit then collect it back when u come out from ur destination. juz buy the exact the amount, a coin-like thingy will come out, dats ur card. hehe tap the coin at the sensor, when u reached juz slot the coin into the ... slot? haha ya. dats it.

then we still happy happy get out of the station wan to find food, based on the kaoshuing walker magazine we bought on 1st night. dats where we learned "do not trust magazines" coz theres no good food. n no ppl for us to ask for directions. road signs r forever messy. the worst thing is the freaking hot weather. so when we saw kfc, we juz went in. we went all the way to kaoshuing for kfc. *applause*

after lunch, its sanduo shopping district. coz we need air con. pampered kitty. even their city oso nobody leh. so weird. nobody walking ard. even the shopping centre oso not very crowded. not like us. mmm

we finally arrived at the most happening place in ks. liuhe night market. FINALLY! theres good food. many many good food. hiak hiak. be patient, i'll post all the food pics in 1 post (hopefully 1)

night @ ks. quiet night.

our conclusion for ks trip. ks = punggol. no ppl. even the trees r so tiny. so it means they r still developing. will onli come back at least 2 yrs later. hmmm ya we were quite disappointed. lucky the highspeed rail is journey is fun n the happening night market. if not realli not worth coming.
