CNY. woots!

yay! its cny again. actually i dun really have cny mood. im juz looking forward to this long holiday. i deserve this break, everyone deserves it. woots!

day 1 is quite standard lahz. 婆婆家，外婆家 then 姑妈家. and every yr de conversation is sort of standard too. n i tot i was prepared for this. boo. not only cny, tis kinda convie appears in some of our gatherings too.

Scenario 1
A - relative whom we meet twice a yr
Jt - mi

A: eh? 洁婷，你现在在做什么huh?
Jt: 我在做工了lor. 大概有两年了.
A: HUH?!! 在做工了ar?! 不是在读poly meh??　时间过的真快．"酱" 快就出来做工了．不要读大学meh??
Jt: -.- ahh. 我不喜欢读书. 喜欢赚钱.
A: aiyo... then 没有打算读书了meh.. 要读大学才可以赚多多钱lor.. (turns to my mama) aiyo.. 做么不要给她读书???
Jt (ya right, dun like to study then blame my mama dun let mi study. n remb, ur asking wat im doing twice a yr.): ....

Scenario 2
B - relative whom we meet once a yr
JM - Jt's Mama
Jt - mi lah

B: waaaah. 这是你女儿ar?
JM: 是lor.
Jt beside JM saying in her heart (没有没有，你女儿. c'mon, im standing beside my mama. n we're the only family there. whose daughter can i be??)
B: aiyo! 很漂亮leh. 长得那么标致，很美leh.
JM: hahahahahaha 还好lah.
Jt forgets her sacarsm made 2 secs ago n beams wif joy upon receiving praises.

Scenario 3
C - cousin married
D - cousin single
Jt - mi again

C: wah 洁婷，21岁了有没有boyfriend?
Jt (act like shy, nods head & laugh): hahahahahaha
C: aiya 还年轻lah, 可以慢慢看.
D interupts: 对lor. 我很多人追的，还要慢慢选leh.
= freeze =
C: waaaaah. orh.
D: 对lor. 你也是要慢慢选.
By this time, Jt is already laughing evil-ly to herself (你凭什么?): hahahahahaha
