just a normal update

Am rather moody today. Here some updates:

Received good news from co. on mon dat our annual leave will be increased to 21 days. For those who worked here for more than 6 yrs will be 28 days… woots!

Received good news from mum on tues (ytd) dat her job application was successful. Shes gonna start work on thurs (tml). Dats fast. Im so happy for her yet sad for myself. I finally found the courage to face the fact n reflect upon myself dat I was ultra-dependant on her for this 21 years of my life. And she had spent 21 years of her life taking care of mi n my younger bro… laundry service everyday… dinner on almost every weekday… “room cleaning service” on a weekly basis… all these shes done I’ve been taking for granted… esp dinner… coz looking ard at my friends, colleagues… not all of them has home-cooked dinner every night... selfish mi… n I realized how fortunate I am…

I think this is e moment she’s waiting for… to get back to work… to have a life of her own… well, im not sure if I have the patience/determination/ability to sacrifice 21 years of my youth, taking care of my children. 21 years as a housewife is not joke! Hmm even feel like crying when im typing this out… but im in office, CONTROL is a must! (told u im moody.)

Hmm encountered something gross during lunch juz now.. here goes the whole story:

Scene: marina food court.
Time: lunch time

i have this sudden urge to eat “sin chew bee hoon”. So I went to tis stall even though the queue is damn long.. waited for quite some time n e queue clears slowly. In e meantime, someone came to refill the utensils (forks n spoons onli) for tis stall. As e queue clears, its my turn to take e utensils n suddenly tis smell of table cloth caught my attention. I looked ard to find some possible traces of table cloth but none.. so I tot it was e smell of dat area onli so I quickly left upon collection of my food…

to my horror, the smell followed mi back to my table. Whenever I bent down to scoop my been hoon, I can smell dat strong table cloth smell. The best part is my colleagues can smell it too @ various angles. So I decided to drop the utensils n stop eating to prevent myself from food poisoning. Its freaking disgusting lorz!!!!!! imagine e food ur eating contains rinsed table cloth water. SHIT!

im not going back to dat stall again.

昨午观赏了周杰伦自篇自导自演的这部 《不能说的 。秘密》。

起初对这部片没抱多大的希望，认为周董只不过三分钟热度，想过一过当导演的瘾。但当故事一开始，它的情节牵动着我的心，它的画面深深地吸引了我的眼神。就算冬叶再努力引我注意， 我也毫不留情地白他一眼，然后又若无其事地把眼神集中回荧光屏上。

我没想过把故事写进这篇文章里，正所谓这部是《不能说的 。秘密 》。
只能说这是值得买票去观赏的一部好戏。也是难得一部好戏。
感人的剧情加入了几分搞笑，情绪拿捏得恰到好处。
不需要电脑特技，单凭故事就能制造感动。
正因为如此，周董也从新奠定了他在我心目中偶像的位置。

Cruise to Redang (1 Aug 07 - 3 Aug 07)

Woots back from holiday for almost a week. Cant realli remb how i felt last week. nervous? maybe.. coz its the 1st family holiday in 6 years. 3 of us keep proposing to daddy for a holiday overseas but tis idea was shoo-ed off by him due to his work. work is not much of a prob is juz dat he is such a workaholic. hmm was actually quite suprised he checked out the prices from tour agencies for the diff locations to cruise to... kekeke anyway was realli happy wif this n i dun mind taking 2.5 days leave off work...

this time round we're on board SuperStar Virgo.. hmm if im not wrong its the largest in this region... gonna upload lots of photos... woooo im not good at photographing but anyway hope u'll enjoy the pics...

hmm we have $80 dining credit but somehow, i duno how, it wasnt spent wisely... so we decided to go for a drink at a bar where theres soothing music... daddy drank heineken. mummy ordered fruit juice, bro got a "Screwdriver" n i drank the Singapore Sling then got myself drunk. damn. as usual, the itch goes on for a few days.

My New Toys

i was supposed to blog bout my new toys ytd. but i suppose i forget to post it up after i drafted dat post in m word. there goes the previous entry:

Wooo hoooo~~~ bought my own camera finally… though its nth much, I consider it as a minor “investment” and a great “achievement” for myself as I always have difficulties handling a camera n to take nice photos… kekeke.. I wouldn’t have known dat today’s technology has developed to this stage where small errors can be corrected in the cam itself n adjustments to the lightings can be adjusted, if I nv plan to buy a camera. Sua ku right? its true as I din realize how outdated I am.. muahahaha…

Hmm I’ve been figuring out how to take a photo of my new toy using my new toy. So I decided to drop this idea n juz dl its photo online. Clever mi.

have also bought another new toy. Seagate 80gb external harddisk. It looks cool. juz like a diary. hmm dats all for my simlim trip ytd. Really appreciate my ai ai for sourcing the best cam n harddisk for mi… keke muack!!
