Kitty: AM, this is my resignation letter.
AM *jump*: Why? Are you going somewhere?
Kitty: I need a break.
AM *still having a shock face*: I’ll let TM know. *walks away*
Kitty (in her heart): Go ur bollywood lah! Confirm hide at staircase LOL.

MM: Kitty, I was at ur desk juz now, TM called to say he wanna see you.
Kitty: ok thanks!

Kitty walks to TM room.
TM *points to my letter*: What is this all about?
Kitty *smile, smile, smile*: Hehe…
TM: Is there any problem?
Kitty *shakes head & smile*: No…
TM: Are you sure there isn’t any problem?
Kitty *cant control LOL*: No lah…
TM: Is there anything we can do to make you stay?
Kitty (in her heart: YES! U GO! I STAY! HIAK HIAK HIAK…): Nope (I think I didn’t bother to hide my sheepish grin while saying that… oops!)
TM: Alright, but I’m not sure how fast we can get someone to replace you, but at the meantime you shld come to the terminal more often to teach SA on your commercial aspect of your scope, handover your admin duties to R for the time being.
Kitty *smile*: Okay!
Kitty walks out of the room thinking… Got so excited anot?! Immediately after I say no, start to split my job liao. TMD. Shld have asked for $3.2k shock him abit 1st then say no.

AM called at 9.30am: Chris, TM has accepted your resignation and has signed on it, we’ll scan you a copy. In the meantime, compile your detailed jobscope and send me by today.
Kitty: Okay!
Kitty puts down the phone thinking… Got so excited anot? Seven early eight early call to inform me dat my resignation is accepted?! Can’t even hide your eagerness. Shame on you!

During lunch, Kitty walks to senior’s desk. Saw her very busy + pissed off face. Wanted to juz tell her n go off…
Kitty: Senior ah, I’ve thrown my letter. Last day on ddmm.
Senior *looks up, stare at Kitty with blank face*: So sudden? Come sit down, we talk.
Kitty *uh-oh*
Senior: How come so sudden? Anything wrong?
Kitty: Nah, I juz need a break.
Senior: But I thought the pay is good? Y don’t you stay here while looking for opportunities?
Kitty: Its damn good. But I cant tahan anymore. This place is destroying me. I’m destroying myself. I’m tired.
Senior *with tears in her eyes*: These ppl here r bastards leh…
(ever since she’s transferred to another dept, she’s been suffering everyday. Her direct boss wants her to work like shit. She works on Sat & Sun too.)
Kitty: Dun like dat leh…

MD to M *points to Kitty*: This girl here is leaving. Help to arrange for the Helios stuff to be gathered at the terminal. We dun need any Helios-related matters here.
MD turns to Kitty: You clear your stuffs and teach her *points to kl lady* about what you did here. She’ll takeover some of your work, esp those mails & govt submissions.
Kitty: Okay!
